Lee Johnson (punter)
Leland Eric Johnson (born November 27, 1961) is an American former professional football punter who played 18 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the BYU Cougars and was selected by the Houston Oilers in the fifth round of the 1985 NFL draft. He later played for the Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, Minnesota Vikings, and Philadelphia Eagles. Early life and college Johnson was born in Conroe, Texas and was a punter and kicker for McCullough High School in The Woodlands, Texas. Johnson was a punter for BYU and was a member of the 1984 National Championship team. He was nicknamed "Thunderfoot" while at BYU. Johnson was an All-American selection in 1984. Lee Willie Johnson (born 16 June 1957) is an American former professional basketball player. He played briefly in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and several other leagues. College career Johnson played college basketball for four years at East Texas State University, before being drafted by the Houston Rockets in the 1979 NBA draft. Professional career Johnson played only one season in the NBA, with the Rockets and Detroit Pistons. Johnson played for the Rochester Zeniths of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) during the 1980–81 season and was selected as the CBA Playoff/Finals MVP and CBA Rookie of the Year and named to the All-CBA First Team. Lee Johnson is an arena football coach and former offensive lineman and defensive lineman. He played defensive line on the Missouri Tigers football team from 1987 to 1990. He played his college football at the University of Missouri, and was an AFL offensive lineman and defensive lineman from 1995 to 1996. He has been a football coach since 1997. After being the defensive coordinator for the Orlando Predators from 2010 to 2011, he became the San Antonio Talons head coach in 2011. Lee Johnson (born 7 June 1981) is an English professional football manager and former footballer, who is currently the manager of Lommel. Prior to becoming a manager, he played as a midfielder for Brighton & Hove Albion, Yeovil Town, Heart of Midlothian, Bristol City, Derby County, Chesterfield and Kilmarnock. Johnson made his managerial debut with Oldham Athletic in 2013 and led the club to safety. Robertson Lee Johnson (September 8, 1930 – November 15, 2009) was an American attorney, Republican politician, and jurist. He served one term in the Oregon House of Representatives (1966–1968), before being elected twice as the state's Attorney General (May 20, 1969 – Jan. 3, 1977), and a partial term as Judge of the Oregon Court of Appeals (1977–78), resigning to head Governor Vic Atiyeh's executive staff. He sat as an Oregon Circuit Court Judge for Multnomah County from 1983 until his retirement in 1995. Johnson's 1968 election as Oregon Attorney General was challenged in the courts by his opponent, incumbent Robert Y. Thornton, who accused Johnson of violating the state's Corrupt Practices Act.
