Fouad Siniora
Fouad Siniora (; born 19 July 1943) is a Lebanese politician. He served as the 12th Prime Minister of Lebanon, prime minister of Lebanon from 2005 to 2009. He served as minister of Finance from 2000 to 2004. Mohammad Safadi
Mohammad Safadi (; born 28 March 1944) is a Lebanese businessman who served as minister of finance under Najib Mikati between 2011 and 2014. He was also the minister of economy and trade from 2008 to 2011. Early life and education Safadi was born in Tripoli, Lebanon, on 28 March 1944 to Sunni family. He is the son of Ahmed Safadi. His family are businesspeople, running their own firm in Tripoli. Safadi is a graduate of the American University of Beirut where he received a bachelor's degree in business administration in February 1968. Democratic Renewal (Lebanon)
The Democratic Renewal Movement (; often known by the shortened name ''Tajaddod'') is a reformist, social liberal, secular political party in Lebanon. The party was founded in 2001 by a group of 50 Lebanese political figures, intellectuals and businessmen. It was headed by Nassib Lahoud (1944–2012), former presidential aspirant, deputy of the Metn region from 1991 until 2005. After Nassib Lahoud's death on 2 February 2012, DRM's vice-president, former MP Camille Ziade, became the acting president, a post he would retain until July 2013. Nassib Lahoud
Nassib Lahoud (23 November 19441 February 2012) was a Lebanese political figure. He held various posts including Member of parliament, Ambassador to the United States of America, and Minister of State ( without portfolio) . He was also head of the Democratic Renewal Movement and a leading figure in the March 14 coalition, which nominated him as their presidential candidate when they held the parliamentary majority in 2008. His election was vetoed by Hezbollah and its allies, who refused to attend parliament and threatened not to recognise any president who was not the product of a consensus agreement between Lebanese political forces. Kataeb Party
The Kataeb Party (), officially the Kataeb Party – Lebanese Social Democratic Party ( '), also known as the Phalangist Party, is a right-wing Christian political party in Lebanon founded by Pierre Gemayel in 1936. The party and its paramilitary wings played a major role in the Lebanese Civil War (1975–1990), opposing Palestinian insurgency in South Lebanon as well as collaborating with Israel. The Phalangists were responsible for the Black Saturday massacre, the Tel al-Zaatar massacre, Ehden massacre, and the Karantina massacre. In 1982, Pierre's youngest son Bachir, the leader of the party's militia, was elected President, but was assassinated before he could take office. Ibrahim Najjar is a lawyer, a professor of law, a Lebanese politician and a former Justice minister (2008–2011). Early life and education Najjar was born 2 September 1941 in Tripoli, North Lebanon, and is an adherent of the Greek Orthodox Church. Lebanese Forces
The Lebanese Forces ( ') is a Lebanon, Lebanese Christianity in Lebanon, Christian-based political party and Lebanese Forces (militia), former militia during the Lebanese Civil War. It currently holds 19 of the 128 seats in Lebanon's Parliament of Lebanon, parliament, being the largest party of the country. Wael Abou Faour (born 1972) is a Lebanese politician who served as the Minister of Health. Early life Faour was born in 1974 into a Lebanese Druze family.
