''Leaving the End Open'' is the third studio album by the American rock group Hardline. This is their first album since 2002's '' II''. The new line up for the album features two new band members, Jamie Brown on bass guitar and Atma Anur on drums. The album was released on April 17, 2009, in the UK and it was released in the USA on May 2, 2009, and in Japan on May 27, 2009. Japanese guitarist and video game musician Jun Senoue from Gioeli's other band, Crush 40, is listed as a special guest on the song "Before This," where he is credited for the guitar solo. Background The album was called "Just Add Water" when it was in the works for several years, beginning in 2004, but Johnny Gioeli gave the title tentatively while planning a different title. During early development in 2004, Rudy Sarzo was slated to record bass, as suggested by Michael T. Hardline is an American hard rock music, hard rock band. Originally formed in 1991 by brothers Johnny Gioeli and Joey Gioeli, the band consisted of five members, Johnny Gioeli, Joey Gioeli, Neal Schon, Todd Jensen and Deen Castronovo. ''Live at the Gods Festival 2002'' is a live album by Hardline, released on DVD and CD in 2003. It was recorded at the Gods Festival in Bradford, England on June 2, 2002, where Hardline was the headliner. The CD version contains 3 bonus tracks, originally written for their second album, '' II''. However, the bonus tracks were included without lead vocalist Johnny Gioeli's approval or knowledge. The DVD features the entire concert with no bonus footage; however, there is a slide show containing photos taken at the concert at the end after the credits, while the unreleased track "Hypnotized", which was originally written for ''II'', plays in the background. Danger Zone (Hardline Album)
''Danger Zone'' is American hard rock band Hardline's fourth studio album, and their first since ''Leaving the End Open''. Johnny Gioeli is the sole returning member from the ''Leaving the End Open'' lineup, and is joined by keyboardist and producer Alessandro Del Vecchio, guitarist Thorsten Koehne, bassist Anna Portalupi, and drummer Francesco Jovino. ''Danger Zone'' was released in Europe on May 18, 2012, and in America on May 22, both through Frontiers Records. Unlike previous Hardline albums, Johnny Gioeli did not initiate the project, nor was he the primary songwriter. ''II'' is the second album by American hard rock band Hardline. It was released in 2002, ten years after the band's debut album ''Double Eclipse.'' It is also the last album to feature Joey Gioeli. The album was originally going to be named either ''Hyperspace'' or ''Vicious Circle'', but vocalist Johnny Gioeli decided to change the name simply to ''II'' because "it's a natural prosecution of what we started with our debut album '' Double Eclipse''." Jun Senoue
is a Japanese composer and guitarist. He is a sound director for the ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' video game series by Sega and serves as the songwriter of the Japanese-American rock duo Crush 40, which he formed with Johnny Gioeli in 2000. The duo contributed songs to each of the series' major titles until 2010, after which Senoue remained involved in musical production for further ''Sonic'' games. Biography Senoue was born on August 2, 1970, in Matsushima, Miyagi, Japan, and started playing the piano at the age of three. Crush 40 is a Japanese-American hard rock band. The group consists of guitarist and composer Jun Senoue and principal vocalist Johnny Gioeli. Crush 40 is best known for producing most soundtracks for the Sonic The Hedgehog series in the 2000s. Senoue has been employed by Sega as a composer since 1993. While preparing music for ''Sonic Adventure'', he contacted Gioeli to perform the game's theme song, "Open Your Heart".
