Leroy Township, Calhoun County, Michigan
Leroy Township is a civil township of Calhoun County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is part of the Battle Creek, Michigan Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 3,712 at the 2010 census. History Leroy Township was established in 1837. Geography Leroy Township is located in western Calhoun County, bordered by the city of Battle Creek to the north. Kalamazoo County is to the west. Unincorporated communities within the township include Pine Creek, East Leroy, Joppa, West Leroy, Morgan Corners, and Sonoma. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of , of which is land and , or 1.23%, is water.
