''The Seventh Doctor Adventures'' is a Big Finish Productions audio play series based on the television series '' Doctor Who''. It sees the return of Sylvester McCoy reprising his role as the Seventh Doctor. History In 1999, beginning with the story "'' The Sirens of Time''", Big Finish Productions began producing a series of audio adventures featuring the Fifth Doctor, Sixth Doctor and Seventh Doctor. For 22 years these stories continued collectively known as Big Finish's "'' Main Range''". In May 2020, Big Finish announced the main range would conclude in March 2021 and subsequently replaced with regular releases of each Doctor's adventures continuing in their own respective ranges. Several previously released special titles were retroactively reallocated into these new ranges by Big Finish. Christopher Rodonanté Cwej, usually just known as Chris Cwej, is a fictional character from the Virgin New Adventures range of spin-offs based on the BBC science fiction television series '' Doctor Who''. His surname is properly pronounced "Shvay", but he pronounces it "Kwedge" rather than keep correcting people. His first appearance was in the 1995 novel ''Original Sin'' by Andy Lane, with his adjudicate partner Roz Forrester. Adjudicators are the police force of 30th century Earth, which was at that time divided into the Overcity and the Undercity. Chris was born in 2954 to a family who lived in the lower levels of the Overcity. Chris's father, Volsted Kornbluth Cwej, was also an adjudicator. John Dorney is a British writer and actor best known for stage roles at theatres including the National Theatre, the BBC Radio 4 sitcom '' My First Planet''; and his scripts for the Big Finish '' Doctor Who'' range. His script ''Solitaire'' was rated the most popular ''Doctor Who'' Companion Chronicle of 2010 on the Timescales website and was the runner up in Unreality Sci-fi net's poll for Story of the Year 2010–11. Dan Starkey (born 27 September 1977) is an English actor known for making numerous appearances in the BBC One science-fiction TV series '' Doctor Who''. He has portrayed a number of different Sontaran characters, most notably Strax, who has come across the Eleventh and Twelfth incarnations of the Doctor, played by Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi respectively. Stephen Jordan (born 5 August 1986) is an English science fiction, fantasy, horror and comedy writer, playwright and director. Career In 2009, he co-founded ManMoth Productions, a theatre production group, with Patrick Baker. In 2012, Jordan debuted his first solo production, a science fiction comedy play called 'Dead Static', about two strangers who have an hour to live in deep space. Ogron
Ogrons are a fictional extraterrestrial race from the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who''. Ogrons are low-intelligence, ape-like hominids who live in scattered communities on the rocky planet Ograviss, on the outer fringes of the Milky Way, far from the central spaceways. The dominant lifeform on their home planet is a giant slug-like lizard named the Eater, which preys on and is prayed to by the Ogrons. Ogrons are hired mercenaries.
