Larry Brown (born 1947) is an American musician, composer and recording engineer. Background 1960s In the 1960s, he started out playing drums in various bands including surf music bands. During the late 1960s to the 1970s, he either provided or helped provide music for a number of exploitation films which include biker cult classics such as ''The Wild Angels'', ''The Glory Stompers'', ''The Angry Breed'' and ''Maryjane (film), Mary Jane''. In 1965, Brown was the drummer for Davie Allan who provided the music for many biker films in the 1960s, Larry wrote some of his earliest pieces of film music for Roger Corman's The Wild Angels. . Around the late-60s, Brown left the Arrows to become their producer and also produced an album for Dave Myers (musician), Dave Myers, released as the Dave Myers Effect, ''Greatest Racing Themes''. Larry Leslie Brown (March 1, 1940 – April 13, 2024) was an American professional baseball infielder, who played for the Cleveland Indians, Oakland Athletics, Baltimore Orioles, and Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). His brother, Dick Brown, also played in Major League Baseball. Career Brown was originally signed by the Indians in 1958, and on July 6, 1963, against the New York Yankees, he made his big league debut at the age of 23. Pinch-hitting for Tito Francona, he struck out in his first at-bat, but he collected a single in his second plate appearance. As a starter for Cleveland between 1964 and 1969, his batting averages were consistently low – his highest batting average during that span was .253, while his lowest was .227. 1921 USA Outdoor Track And Field Championships
The 1921 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships were organized by the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and served as the national championships in outdoor track and field for the United States. The men's edition was held at Paddock Field in Pasadena, California, and it took place 3–5 July. The first women's championships were not held until 1923. It was the first championships that relay races were held in addition to individual events. The relays were held on 5 July after the other disciplines the previous day. Lawrence Harvey Brown (born September 14, 1940) is an American basketball coach and former player who last served as an assistant coach for the Memphis Tigers men's basketball, Memphis Tigers. Brown is the only coach in basketball history to win both an National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA 1988 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, national championship (Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball, Kansas Jayhawks, 1988) and an 2004 NBA Finals, NBA title (Detroit Pistons, 2004). William Larry Brown (July 9, 1951 – November 24, 2004) was an American novelist, non-fiction, and short story writer. He received numerous awards during his lifetime, including the Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters award for fiction, the Lila Wallace-Reader's Digest Award, and Mississippi's Governor's Award For Excellence in the Arts. Brown was also the first two-time winner of the Southern Book Award for Fiction. His notable works include '' Dirty Work'', ''Joe'', '' Father and Son'', and ''Big Bad Love''.
