Landquart (Rhaetian Railway Station)
Landquart railway station () is a major railway station in the municipality of Landquart, in the Swiss canton of Grisons. It is an intermediate stop on the Swiss Federal Railways Chur–Rorschach line and the junction of the Landquart–Davos Platz and Landquart–Thusis lines of the Rhaetian Railway. It is served by long-distance, local, and regional trains. There are trains to Zürich and beyond in the north and services to Chur and Disentis/Mustér in the south. In addition, there are connecting services to Klosters, Davos and Scuol in the east. There are currently six tracks in use at the station. Tracks 2, 3 and 4 are served by SBB and tracks 5, 6 and 8 are served by RhB. Landquart station is the start of the '' Prättigauer Höhenweg'', a multi-day hiking trail that leads to Klosters. Sargans railway station () is a railway station in Sargans, in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen. It is an intermediate stop on the Chur–Rorschach line and eastern terminus of the Ziegelbrücke–Sargans line. It is served by local, regional, and long-distance trains. Chur S-Bahn
The expression Chur S-Bahn () is used to describe two S-Bahn-style regional rail services focused upon Chur, the capital of the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. Both of these S-Bahn services run on metre gauge lines, and are operated by the Rhaetian Railway, which also runs the line from Chur to Arosa in similar fashion. History Upon the 2005 timetable change, the Chur – Landquart and Thusis – Chur regional lines on the Landquart–Thusis railway were converted into S-Bahn lines. Scuol-Tarasp Railway Station
Scuol-Tarasp railway station is the northern terminus of the Bever–Scuol-Tarasp railway. It is located on the western edge of the village of Scuol at an altitude of 1287 m in the Lower Engadine. The station is named after the neighbouring village of Scuol and the small town of Tarasp. Scuol-Tarasp station was completely rebuilt and renovated in 2009. Since then, a Postbus stop has been located on the right side of the station building; this is the starting point for Postbus routes in the Lower Engadine. In addition, an island platform was built with platform track 1 as a dead-end track and track 2 as a through track. This allows direct access to the trains and platform at ground level. The InterRegio, often shortened to IR, is a train categories in Europe, train category for mainly domestic train services in use in some European countries, with Swiss Federal Railways operating the most dense network.
