Lakes Of The Philippines
The origin of many lakes in the Philippines is closely related to volcanic and tectonic activity. A number of smaller lakes occupy the craters of extinct volcanoes. Some lake basins are developed by subsidence due to tectonic or volcanic activity. Others owe their existence to obstruction of drainage courses by landslides, lava flows and by fragmental volcanic ejecta. Among the lakes in the Philippines, three stand out because of their size or economic importance: Laguna de Bay and Taal Lake in Luzon, and Lake Lanao in Mindanao. Alligator Lake (Philippines)
Tadlac Lake, also colloquially known as Crocodile Lake, is a freshwater Maar, volcanic maar lake located in Barangay Tadlac, in the Municipalities of the Philippines, municipality of Los Baños, Laguna, Los Baños, Laguna (province), Laguna. The lake-filled maar is located along the southern shore of Laguna de Bay, the largest lake in the Philippines, with Tadlac Lake protruding out of the shore of the larger lake. Northern Mindanao

Lake Apo
Lake Apo is a crater lake in Barangay Guinoyoran in the city of Valencia in Bukidnon province in the Philippines. It is located in a hilly area about in elevation, about WSW of the city ''poblacion'' (town center). Agno River

Ambuklao Dam
Ambuklao Dam is part of a hydroelectric facility in Baragay Ambuclao, Bokod, Benguet province in the Philippines. With a maximum water storage capacity of , the facility, which is located from Baguio, can produce up to 105 megawatts of electricity for the Luzon grid.
