Lakers du Lac Saint-Louis was a Canadian women's semi-professional association football, soccer club based in Lachine, Quebec, Lachine, Urban agglomeration of Montreal, Montréal, Quebec that played in the Ligue1 Québec (women), Première ligue de soccer du Québec. History The club was formed by the Association Régionale de Soccer du Lac St-Louis to participate in the newly formed women's division of the Ligue1 Québec (women), Première ligue de soccer du Québec, taking the regional approach, rather than to have one of their member clubs form a team. Patrick Viollat was named the club's head coach. The team had a disappointing season finishing in last place. After the first season, they departed the league, with the association transferring control of the team over to CS Mont-Royal Outremont, one of its member clubs for 2019. Jessica Christina De Filippo (born April 20, 2001) is a Canadian professional women's soccer player who plays as a forward for Vancouver Rise FC in the Northern Super League. Early life Born in Mississauga, Ontario, De Filippo moved to Montreal, Quebec with her family at the age of one. She began playing soccer at age four with CS Saint-Lazare. Club Soccer Mont-Royal Outremont is a Canadian semi-professional soccer club based in the Montreal boroughs of Mount Royal and Outremont. Since 2013, the club has competed in Ligue1 Québec. Their women's team has competed in the women's division of the PLSQ since 2019. History In 2013, the club joined the Première ligue de soccer du Québec, a Division III league, fielding a team in the men's division.
