Lad From Our Town
Lad from Our Town, (russian: Парень из нашего города) is a 1942 Soviet World War II film directed by Boris Ivanov and Aleksandr Stolper. Plot The film tells about Saratovite Sergey Lukonin, who goes to a tank school in Omsk, leaving his bride in the city, who becomes an actress. In 1936 Sergei was sent to the front in Spain. After surviving the wounds, captivity and escape, Sergei does not even imagine that the Great Patriotic War is ahead of him. Grigory Oyzerovich Spiegel (russian: Григо́рий О́йзерович Шпи́гель; 24 July 1914 — 28 April 1981) was a Soviet and Russian actor and voice actor. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1974). Biography He worked as a pleater at a dye factory in Leningrad. He studied at the directing department of the Central School of amateur theater in Moscow. In 1940 he graduated from an acting school at the Mosfilm. He worked as a National Film Actors' Theatre. He took part in voicing cartoon characters, known for his voice being unusually high pitched and sonorous for a man. Death Died April 28, 1981. He was buried in Moscow at the Vvedenskoye Cemetery. Aleksandr Borisovich Stolper (russian: Александр Борисович Столпер; 12 August 1907, in Dvinsk (now Daugavpils) – 12 January 1979, in Moscow) was a Soviet film director and screenwriter.
