Ángel Labruna
Ángel Amadeo Labruna (28 September 1918 – 19 September 1983) was an Argentine footballer and coach who played as a forward. With 323 goals scored in official matches, which include 294 league goals, Labruna is the 2nd all-time top scorer of Primera División after Paraguayan Arsenio Erico. Labruna was also part of the celebrated River Plate offense, nicknamed ''La Máquina'' (''The Machine''), and he was considered one of the best South-American footballers of his generation. In his career, Labruna scored 564 goals. Biography Labruna was born in Buenos Aires. Career Playing career Labruna's debut in the Primera División was in replacement of José Manuel Moreno who had been suspended by the club, wearing the number 10 shirt. The match disputed on 18 June 1939 in La Plata against Estudiantes, which defeated River by 1–0. Omar Labruna
Omar Raúl Labruna (, born 3 April 1957) is an Argentine football coach and former player. Biography "Omarcito" Labruna started his playing career at River Plate in 1976 during his father Ángel's time as manager of the club. He left River in 1981 and had spells with Quilmes, Platense and Deportivo Italiano. Labruna spent several years working in coaching and as an assistant manager before becoming the manager of Belgrano de Córdoba in 2003. He then joined Huracán de Tres Arroyos and led the small provincial team to 2nd place in the Primera B Nacional in the Clausura 2004 championship In 2005, he became the manager of Olimpo de Bahía Blanca in the Primera División Argentina and in 2006 he was appointed as the manager of Colombian side Deportivo Cali. In 2008, he took over as manager of Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy and was fired on 11 March 2009.
