La Indomable (Mexican Telenovela)
''La Indomable'' (English title: ''The indomitable'') is a Mexican telenovela produced by Julissa for Televisa in 1987. The story portrays a female version of the play "The Taming of the Shrew" by English playwright William Shakespeare. Leticia Calderón and Arturo Peniche starred as protagonists, while Elvira Monsell and Juan Carlos Serrán starred as antagonists. Plot María Fernanda Villalpando is a beautiful, rich, but arrogant, proud woman who lives on a large family hacienda known as Villa Paraíso, in the company of her father Gonzalo and her friend Cristina. María Fernanda is engaged to Gerardo, a wealthy businessman. She finds out that he is cheating on her, so she breaks off her engagement. Miguel Echánove, a young and humble engineer who is visiting with the Villalpando's falls in love with Maria Fernanda's beauty. ''Pobre señorita Limantour'' (English title: ''Poor Miss Limantour'') is a Mexican telenovela broadcast on El Canal de las Estrellas in 1987. Was starring Víctor Cámara in his debut in Mexican telenovelas, Ofelia Cano in her only starring in soap operas and Manuel Saval and Úrsula Prats in antagonistics. It also marked the debut of Thalía in Mexican telenovelas. It is based on the soap opera "Regina Carbonell" Inés Rodena original. Plot Regina Limantour is an honest young woman who lives with her aunt and her sister Doris. Bernarda is a cruel woman having fun humiliating and mocking Regina, calling her "Poor Miss Limantour". On the death of Bernarda, Regina is animated by Pilar a woman who has taken a liking to the girl, to get better and become what she craves, a nurse. Queta Carrasco (July 4, 1913 — August 8, 1996) was a Mexican character actress. Early life Enriqueta Carrasco Navarrete was born in Mexico City, the daughter of Honorato Carrasco and Ada Navarrete. Her father was an engineer and her mother was an opera singer. Her older sister Ada Carrasco also became an actress, as did Ada's daughter Malena Doria.
