''La Voz'' (Spanish for ''The Voice'') is a Uruguayan singing Reality competition, reality competition television series broadcast on Canal 10 (Uruguay), Channel 10. Created by John de Mol Jr., it premiered on March 7, 2022. Based on the original ''The Voice of Holland'', and part of The Voice (franchise), ''The Voice'' franchise, it aims to find unsigned singing talent (solo or duets, professional and amateur) contested by aspiring singers, age 16 or over, drawn from public auditions. Teledoce Televisora Color, also known as Canal 12 is a Uruguayan free-to-air television network, located in the capital of Uruguay, Montevideo. It is owned by Grupo Disco. Television transmissions commenced in 1962. History It was the third and last private free-to-air channel that opened in Montevideo. Álex Ubago (born Alejandro Martínez de Ubago Rodríguez on January 29, 1981, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Basque Country, Spain) is a Spanish singer-songwriter. He is especially known for his heartfelt voice and his ballads. He was able to record his debut album '' ¿Qué pides tú?'' when manager Iñigo Argomaniz that used to go to Alex's cousin's bar heard a demo that Alex made for his girlfriend. His first album contains songs from that first demo recording; the songs are "Sabes" and "Hay Que Ver". Julieta Rada Jodara (born 25 May 1990) is a Uruguayan-Argentine singer, songwriter and television personality. Coming from a family of musicians, she began singing in her teens. She released her debut album in 2012 and in 2015 she was nominated for the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Since 2023 she serves as a coach on '' La Voz Kids Uruguay.''
