LSU Lady Tigers Gymnastics
The LSU Tigers women's gymnastics team represents Louisiana State University in NCAA Division I women's gymnastics. The team competes in the Southeastern Conference and is currently coached by Jay Clark, who is coaching in his fifth season. The Pete Maravich Assembly Center serves as the home arena for the team. History The gymnastics program was founded in 1970. In 2008, LSU made their first Super Six appearance. The team also made Super Six appearances in 2009, 2013 and 2014. In both the 2016 and 2017 seasons, the program made the Super Six and finished second at the 2016 and 2017 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships. Also in 2017, LSU won back-to-back SEC Regular Season and SEC Championship Meet championships. In 2018, LSU again won back-to-back SEC Regular Season and SEC Championship Meet championships and reached the Super Six. 2013 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championship
The 2013 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championship was held in Pauley Pavilion, on the campus of UCLA in Los Angeles, California on April 19–21, 2013. The team competition was won by the Florida Gators. Twelve teams from the six regional meets advanced to the NCAA Division I national team and individual titles. Kailin Chio
Kailin Chio (born July 4, 2006) is an American artistic gymnast and former member of the USA national gymnastics team. She is the 2021 Junior Pan American Games champion on floor exercise and the 2025 NCAA champion on vault. Early life Chio was born to Sara and Nathan Chio in 2006 in Henderson, Nevada. She started gymnastics in 2009. Gymnastics career Junior elite Chio competed at the 2021 American Classic where she finished first in the all-around in the junior division. In late May she competed at the U.S. Classic where she placed second in the all-around behind Katelyn Jong. In June Chio competed at the 2021 U.S. National Championships. Aleah Cruz Finnegan (born January 4, 2003) is a Filipino-American artistic gymnast. Born in the United States, she represents the Philippines internationally and competed for her country of birth in the past. She was a member of the United States women's national gymnastics team, United States' women's national gymnastics team from 2019 to 2021 and was part of the team that won gold at the Gymnastics at the 2019 Pan American Games, 2019 Pan American Games. Haleigh Bryant
Haleigh Alexandra Bryant (born December 20, 2001) is an American artistic gymnast currently competing for Louisiana State University in the NCAA. She is the 2024 NCAA Champion in the team and individual all-around, and is the 2021 NCAA Champion on vault. Early life Bryant was born in Atlanta in 2001 to Terry and Trisha Bryant. She started training in gymnastics in 2004 and moved to North Carolina in 2011 where she trained at Everest gymnastics. Bryant attended William Amos Hough High School. Sarah Finnegan
Sarah Cruz Finnegan (born November 14, 1996) is an American artistic gymnast and was an alternate for the 2012 Summer Olympics Gymnastics team. She competed for the Louisiana State Lady Tigers at the collegiate level, and was the 2017 and 2019 NCAA champion on uneven bars. She is the older sister of Aleah Finnegan. Personal life Finnegan was born on November 14, 1996, to Don and Linabelle Finnegan. She has three sisters, Hannah, Jennah, and Aleah, who are all also gymnasts. Ashleigh Marie Gnat (born November 13, 1994, in Altamonte Springs, Florida) is a former American collegiate gymnast and coach. She competed for the Louisiana State University gymnastics team from 2014 to 2017. Gnat coached as an assistant coach at Penn State in 2020. Rheagan Reneé Courville (born March 26, 1993) is a former American collegiate gymnast for the LSU Lady Tigers gymnastics team. In 2013, she was the National Co-Champion on vault and was also SEC Gymnast of the Year, Central Region Gymnast of the Year, and Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) Gymnast of the Year. Once again in 2014, Rheagan was the National Co-Champion on vault, 2014 TAF Gymnast of the Year, SEC Gymnast of the Year, Central Region Co-Gymnast of the Year, 2014 NACGC/W Scholastic All-American. 2024 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Tournament
The 2024 NCAA women's gymnastics tournament was the 41st NCAA women's gymnastics tournament, the annual women's gymnastics championship contested by the teams of the member associations of NCAA. The first and second round and regional final were hosted on campuses from April 3 to April 7, 2024, while the semi-final and final were held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas from April 18 to April 20, 2024.
