LSD And The Search For God
LSD and the Search for God is an American shoegaze band formed in San Francisco, California, in 2005. The band's founding members consist of singer and guitarist Andy Liszt, singer Sophia Campbell, and guitarist Chris Fifield, with several recurring and past members being part of the band's lineup throughout its history. The origin of the group's name is a reference to author William Braden's book ''The Private Sea: LSD and the Search for God''. They gained traction after the release of their debut self-titled EP in 2007 under record label Mind Expansion. The EP sold out and was reissued on vinyl the following year via Deep Space Recordings. In 2016, they released their only new material since, an EP titled ''Heaven is a Place''. However, the band remains active and have gained a cult following. Lauren Andino
Lauren Andino is an American artist, musician, and co-founder of DL Skateboards. Raised in Columbia, South Carolina, Andino moved to Brooklyn, New York, as a young adult, where she played in several bands. She is currently the singer and guitarist for the shoegaze pop band Tremours with drummer Glenn Fryatt. Since August 2021, she has been playing guitar and touring with L.A. Witch. Known for her reverb soaked guitar tones and ghostly vocal melodies, Andino is an endorsed artist for both the United Kingdom amplifier company Hiwatt and Fender (company) guitars. Andino is also a touring member of LSD and the Search for God. In 2023, she accompanied them on vocals and guitar for a month of sold-out dates in the United States and Canada, supporting the UK-based band Panchiko. Ricky Maymi
Ricky Rene Maymi () is an American rock musician, best known as an original member of the psychedelic rock band The Brian Jonestown Massacre. The Brian Jonestown Massacre A founding member and original drummer of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, he then switched to guitar and finally on to bass guitar before leaving the band in 1993. He rejoined as 12-string guitarist in 2003. Other projects In 2013 Maymi toured with psychedelic shoegaze band LSD and the Search for God and The Telescopes as a guitarist and in Canada as a drummer with Flavor Crystals. Marshall Amplification is a British company that designs and manufactures music amplifiers, Guitar speaker cabinet, speaker cabinets, and effects unit, effects pedals.
