It has been published in Paris since 1921 and targets upper-income, educated women aged 25 to 49. ''L'Officiel Hommes'' is a French luxury fashion and lifestyle magazine for men, adapted from '' L'Officiel,'' owned by a Hong Kong company AMTD Idea. It has been published in Paris since 2005 and targets men interested in fashion. History ''L'Officiel Hommes'' was originally launched in 1977 but ceased publication in 1990. It was relaunched in 1996 as ''L'Officiel Homme'', however it was rebranded to in 1998 after a publishing rights dispute. ''L'Optimum'' was closed In 2017. However in 2005 for the third time ''L'Officiel Hommes'' returned to publication. Marie-José Susskind-Jalou (born March 1949) is a French journalist, fashion editor, and artist who served as editor-in-chief of ''L'Officiel de la couture et de la mode de Paris'' from 1988 to 2002 and president of Éditions Jalou from 2003 to 2022. Sara Waka called her 'the mother of the fashion industry'. Early life She was born in March 1949, the daughter of Georges Jalou and Ursel Susskind. Stefano Tonchi (born 13 October 1959, Florence, Italy) is an Italian journalist, curator, and consultant. In March 2022, he launched Palmer, a luxury media brand, with Michael J Berman, co-founder of George magazine. Jean Patou (; 27 September 1887 – 8 March 1936) was a French fashion designer, and founder of the Jean Patou brand. Early life Patou was born in Paris, France in 1880. Patou's family's business was tanning and furs. Patrick Besson (born 1 June 1956) is a French writer and journalist. Life Besson was born of a half-Russian father and a Croatian mother.
