Kansas's 18th Senate District
Kansas's 18th Senate district is one of 40 districts in the Kansas Senate. It has been represented by Republican Kenny Titus since January 13, 2025. Previous senators include Democrat Vic Miller and Governor Laura Kelly. Geography District 18 is based in northern Topeka, also stretching west to Silver Lake, Rossville, St. Marys, and Wamego. It covers parts of Pottawatomie, Shawnee, and Wabaunsee Counties. The 2018 Kansas gubernatorial election took place on November 6, 2018, to elect the next governor of Kansas. On July 26, 2017, Governor Sam Brownback was nominated by President Donald Trump to serve as United States Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom.
