Aleksander Kwiek
Aleksander Kwiek (born 13 January 1983) is a Polish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Rymer Rybnik. Club career Born in Wodzisław Śląski, Kwiek started his career with Rymer Niedobczyce. In 2000, he moved to Odra Wodzisław Śląski where he was a key player. In 2004, he joined Wisła Kraków with whom he won the league title, but never established himself as a key player, and left Wisła in mid-2005 to join Korona Kielce, where he stayed for two seasons. In 2006, he signed for Górnik Łęczna. Upon the expiry of his contract, he joined Jagiellonia Białystok. In 2008, he re-signed with Korona Kielce. Dawid Kwiek
Dawid Kwiek (born 22 January 1988) is a Polish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Kwiek began his career at Wisła Kraków. In the 2007–08 season, he won the Młoda Ekstraklasa title with Wisła Kraków (ME) team. In 2009, he moved to Swiss 2. Liga Interregional club Signal FC Bernex-Confignon. On 14 July 2009, he joined Yverdon-Sport to play in Swiss Challenge League and left the club after a half year. After one month without a club, Kwiek joined LKS Nieciecza on 24 January 2010 on trial, before signing a contract with them on 6 February 2010. In February 2011, he joined Resovia on a one-and-a-half-year contract. Personal life Kwiek was born in Freiburg, Germany of Polish descent and then moved with his family to Canada, before returning to Poland, the country of his parents, at 14 years of age. The title King of the Gypsies has been claimed or given over the centuries to many different people. It is both culturally and geographically specific. It may be inherited, acquired by acclamation or action, or simply claimed. The extent of the power associated with the title varied; it might be limited to a small group in a specific place, or many people over large areas. In some cases the claim was clearly a public-relations exercise. As the term wikt:gypsy, Gypsy is also used in many different ways, the ''King of the Gypsies'' may be someone with no connection with the Romani people, Roma. Julian Kwiek
Julian Kwiek is Polish scientist and historian, who graduated from the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań. In 1989 he received his Ph.D. in history at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Kwiek is an Adjunct at the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences of the AGH University of Science and Technology. The scope of his professional interests include modern Poland with special focus on legal status of Polish minorities after 1945, the workings of the Polish underground organizations after World War II and the Polish political crises of communism. He is the author of over a dozen scientific papers, and books of Polish postwar history. Kwiek was an Elected Referee and Examiner for Doctor of Humanities Degrees at Jagiellonian University Faculty of Philosophy and History in 1988. Pawel Kwiek
Paweł Kwiek (16 March 1951 – 13 March 2022) was a Polish contemporary visual artist, photographer, cinematographer, and lighting director. Kwiek worked with film, painting, photographic cycles and artistic actions. He was a participant in a wide array of exhibitions of Polish art in Poland and abroad and the author of theoretical texts about neo-avant-garde art. Kwiek was also a poet and a performer. In 1973, Kwiek graduated from the National Film School in Łódź, Leon Schiller National Higher School of Film, Television and Theatre PWSFTviT in Łódź, Department of Direction of Photography and Television Production. Lecturer at the Łódź Film School, PWSTTviF in Łódź and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (in 1977–1978), Head of the Photography Department of the newspaper "Życie Warszawy" (1991).
