Jakub Kot
Jakub Kot (born 19 January 1990) is a Polish ski jumper, and a member of the Polish youth ski jumping team. Personal life Kot was born in Limanowa, Poland, but raised in Zakopane. His father Rafał was a physiotherapist for the Polish ski jumping team. Jakub's younger brother Maciej (born 1991) is also a ski jumper. On 22 October 2016 in Zakopane, he married Joanna Pilch. On 17 March 2017 his wife gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Otylia. In September 2018 his second daughter was born. Career He is currently in the youth team of Poland. Wincenty Kot
Wincenty II Kot (c. 1395–1448) was a 15th-century Roman Catholic Archbishop of Gniezno, in Poland. Early life He was born around 1395. Before he was elected Archbishop of Gniezno he was a teacher and tutor of the king's sons Wladyslaw and Kazimierz. Kot caught the attention of Wladyslaw Jagiello on a visit to Lithuania. Kot soon after moved to the Wawel Castle, where the royal family lived. At the end of May 1434 Wladyslaw Jagiello contracted pneumonia while out listening to the songs of nightingales in the woods near Przemyśl and died on 1 June at the age of 83. Two years later, when the post of archbishop of Gniezno became vacant, the new king put his tutor into the office. Stanisław Kot (22 October 188526 December 1975) was a Polish historian and politician. A native of the Austrian partition of Poland, early in life he was attracted to the cause of Polish independence. As a professor of the Jagiellonian University (1920–1933), he held the chair of the History of Culture. His principal expertise was in the politics, ideologies, education, and literature of the 16th- and 17th-century Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. Serhiy Ivanovych Kot (; 22 June 1958 – 28 March 2022) was a Ukrainian historian. A senior researcher at the Institute of History of Ukraine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, he focused on preservation of historical and cultural property, history of conservation and burial work in Ukraine, cultural property return and restitution. Karol Kot
Karol Kot (18 December 1946 – 16 May 1968) was a Polish murderer who terrorized the city of Kraków between 1964 and 1966. Due to trial evidence and to the seemingly random choices of victims, which included children and elderly people, Kot was nicknamed the Vampire of Kraków (). After the trial, in which Kot pleaded guilty to all the crimes with which he was charged, he was Capital punishment in Poland, sentenced to death on 14 July 1967.
