Koshy's Parade Café, popularly known as Koshy's, is a family-owned restaurant in Bangalore, India. Jawaharlal Nehru, Queen Elizabeth II and Nikita Khruschev are among those who have dined at Koshy's. History Koshy’s started off as a bakery in 1940, set up by P.O. Koshy, a Syrian Christian from Kerala Kerala ( , ) is a States and union territories of India, state on the Malabar Coast of India. Since the 1990s, third generation Koshys, Prem and Santosh, have managed the eatery. The colonial-era restaurant has maintained its old-world decor which is a draw for its clientele. Gundu Rao
Rama Gundu Rao (27 September 1937 – 22 August 1993) was an Indian politician who was the List of Chief Ministers of Karnataka, eighth Chief Minister of Karnataka from 1980 to 1983. A member of the Indian National Congress (INC), he was appointed Chief Minister after the resignation of the D. Devaraj Urs-led ministry, following the party's loss in 27 seats out of 28 in the 1980 Indian general election, 1980 general election. Rao, a loyalist of then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, joined Indian National Congress#Formation of Congress (I), Congress (I), her faction of the INC, and formed the government in the State. Rao was born and raised in Karnataka's Kodagu district. It here here that he began his political career when he was elected president of the Somwarpet Town Municipal Council.
