KORE (1050 AM) is a commercial radio station dual licensed to Springfield and Eugene, Oregon. It airs a sports radio format and is owned by KORE Broadcasting, LLC. The studios and offices are on Willagillespie Road off Oregon Route 132 in Eugene. By day, KORE is powered at 5,000 watts non-directional. As 1050 AM is a Mexican clear channel frequency reserved for XEG-AM in Monterrey, KORE reduces power at night to 105 watts. The transmitter site is on Goodpasture Road near the Willamette River in Eugene. Programming is also heard on 250-watt FM translator K275CX at 102.9 MHz. Television station KLSR-TV (channel 34) also carries KORE audio overnight. Programming KORE has two Oregon-based shows on weekdays. In early afternoons, it runs ''Danny & Justin''. KEED (1450 AM) is a commercial radio station licensed to serve Eugene, Oregon, United States. The station is owned by Mielke Broadcasting Group. History According to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) records, KEED (Facility ID #40889) dates back to 1927. However, because the station inherited the KEED call sign in a 1966 call letter swap with the original KEED, it has traditionally traced its history to the debut of the original KEED in 1954. KXTG (750 AM, "The Game") is a commercial radio station in Portland, Oregon. It airs a sports radio format and is owned by Alpha Media, a company headed by veteran radio executive Larry Wilson. The studios are on SW 5th Avenue in downtown Portland. By day, KXTG is powered at 50,000 watts, the maximum for AM radio stations. As 750 AM is a clear channel frequency reserved for Class A station WSB in Atlanta, KXTG reduces power at night to 20,000 watts using a directional antenna with a four-tower array. The transmitter is on SE Curtis Road in Damascus. Programming KXTG is Portland's flagship home to the Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer. It is owned by Cox Media Group alongside MyNetworkTV affiliate KEVU-CD (channel 23), a low-power Class A station.
