''Koottukar'' (''Friends'') is a 2010 Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film directed by Prasad Vaalacheril, starring Vinu Mohan and Bhama. Plot Chandradas, an advocate receives a phone call during his birthday party regarding a business deal from Unnikrishnan, who then kills him when they meet. Commissioner Antony Alex, Unni's childhood friend, attempts to arrest him and his underworld ally Masthan Bhai, but Masthan's right-hand man Mahmmed shows up and saves them. Masthan tells Mahmmed not to kill Alex and promises to surrender once Unni has completed his revenge. Vinu Mohan (born 12 May 1986) is an Indian actor who appears in Malayalam films. He made his debut in the 2007 film '' Nivedyam'', directed by A. K. Lohithadas. He is the grandson of the actor Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair, son of actors K. Mohan Kumar and Shobha Mohan, and nephew of actor Sai Kumar. Early life and family Vinu Mohan was born to actors K. Kalasala Babu (1950 14 May 2018) was an Indian actor who performed on stage, and in television serials and films. On stage Babu had been acting in radio plays while at college. Following his graduation in 1973, Babu acted in ''Paanchajanyam'', yielding a good performance. Babu acted at Kalidasa Kala Kendram for two years, and was offered roles by the late O. Madhavan and K. T. Muhammed. After acting in his first film '' Inayethedi'' in 1977, Babu started his drama troupe 'Kalasala' in Thripunithura, after which he was called as Kalasala Babu, and had artists such as Thilakan and Surasu, amongst others.
