Kolak (food)
Kolak (or kolek) is an Indonesian sweet dessert based on palm sugar or coconut sugar, coconut milk, and pandanus leaf (''P. amaryllifolius''). A variation in which banana is added, is called ''kolak pisang'' or banana kolak. Other variations may add ingredients such as pumpkins, sweet potatoes, jackfruit, plantains, cassava, rice balls, tapioca pearls, and '' kolang-kaling'' (aren palm fruit). It is usually served warm or at room temperature, but some prefer it cold. In Indonesia, kolak is a popular iftar dish, locally known as ''tajil'' (sugary snacks and drinks consumed to break the fast) during the holy month of Ramadan, and is also a popular street food. Preparation Kolak is basically a dessert based on a sweet liquid made from the mixture of palm sugar and coconut milk. Blocks of palm sugar are crushed and liquified in boiling water, mixed together with coconut milk and pandanus leaf to add aroma. Kolak River
Kolak River is a river in Gujarat Gujarat () is a States of India, state along the Western India, western coast of India. Daniel Kolak (born 1955 in Zagreb, SR Croatia) is a Croatian-American philosopher who works primarily in philosophy of mind, personal identity, cognitive science, philosophy of science, philosophy of mathematics, philosophy of logic, philosophy of religion, and aesthetics. He is professor of philosophy at the William Paterson University of New Jersey and an Affiliate of the Rutgers University Center for Cognitive Science (RuCCS). Dorota Kolak (born 20 June 1957) is a Polish actress and professor. She received two Gdynia Film Festival Award for Best Supporting Actress for ''I Am Yours'' (2009) and '' United States of Love'' (2016), and two Polish Academy Award for Best Actress nominations for performances in ''United States of Love'' (2016) and '' Playing Hard'' (2018). Rudi Kolak
Rudolf Kolak (4 November 1918 – 22 December 2004) was a Yugoslav and Bosnian communist politician. Biography Kolak was born in Gornji Ribnik near Ključ to a Bosnian Croat family. He studied at the University of Belgrade's Law School until 1940. Kolak joined the Communist Party of Yugoslavia in 1941, joining the Partisans. Later he became a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia. After the war, Kolak held various posts: he was Secretary of the People's Assembly of Socialist Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, President of People's Assembly in Banja Luka, President of the Supervisory Committee, and Minister in the Government of the Socialist Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sara Kolak
Sara Kolak (born 22 June 1995) is a Croatian track and field athlete who competes in the javelin throw. She is an Olympic champion and won the gold medal in the javelin throw event at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Kolak is also a European Championships bronze medallist and European U23 champion. She holds the Croatian record with a personal best throw of 68.43 m, set in 2017. It also ranks her tenth on the world all-time list. The rulers of the Wadai Sultanate ruled a territory today located in the north of the Republic of Chad. There have been three states of Wadai, with the first dated to pre-1500. In the 14th century, Wadai became a "quasi independent" state of the Maba people but was destroyed at end of the 15th century. A second Wadai state grew out of the first and was conquered by the Tunjur kingdom in the 16th century. In 1611, a Maba named Abd al-Krim expelled the Tunjur and became the first ''Kolak'' (King) in 1635, marking the beginning of the third Wadai state.
