Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah (born August 14, 1981) is a Ghanaian-born American professional wrestling, professional wrestler. He is signed to WWE, where he performs on the Raw (WWE brand), Raw WWE brand extension, brand under the ring name Kofi Kingston and is part of The New Day (professional wrestling), The New Day and is one-half of the World Tag Team Championship (WWE), World Tag Team Champions. After graduating from Boston College, he decided to pursue a professional wrestling career, and began performing on the New England independent circuit as a Jamaican wrestler by the name of Kofi Nahaje Kingston. The Fabulous Freebirds were a professional wrestling tag team who attained fame in the 1980s, performing into the 1990s.
