Knowing Just As I
''Knowing Just As I'' is the second album for Swedish heavy metal band Morgana Lefay. Morgana Lefay self-released the demo ''Rumours of Rain''. This was picked up by Black Mark Records and released as-is, except for one new song, "Knowing Just as I", which also became the album title. The cover was painted by Kristian Wåhlin. The cover for ''Knowing Just as I'' was among the pieced exhibited in Bollnäs in 2015. Reception In Sweden, ''Expressen'' gave the album 4 out of 5. This "untrendy, dark, beautiful metal of high class" utilized the horror of King Diamond, the melancholy of Queensrÿche, technique of Testament and heaviness of Metallica, wrote the reviewer. The album was also included on the "Best Right Now" list together with Clawfinger and Rage Against the Machine. In ''Rock Hard Magazine'', the reviewer called ''Knowing Just As I'' "a really nice, traditional speed album" and likened it to the music of Artillery, Iced Earth and Heathen. Morgana Lefay
Morgana Lefay (known as Damage from 1986 to 1989 and Lefay from 1999 to 2001) is a Swedish power/thrash metal band from Bollnäs. They are named after Morgan Le Fay of the Arthurian cycle. History Morgana Lefay independently released their first album, ''Symphony of the Damned'', in 1990. The success of the album allowed the band to tour and eventually landed them with Black Mark Records. In 1997, Morgana Lefay disbanded. Persson, Heder and Söderlind kept the name. Manuel Charlton (25 July 1941 – 5 July 2022) was a Spanish-born Scottish musician and record producer, best known as a founding member of the influential Scottish hard rock band Nazareth; he was the band's lead guitarist from 1968 to 1990. William Daniel McCafferty (14 October 1946 – 8 November 2022) was a Scottish vocalist and songwriter best known as the lead singer for the Scottish hard rock band Nazareth from its founding in 1968 to his retirement from touring with the band in 2013. Life and career Nazareth and solo career Under the influence of artists such as Little Richard, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry and Otis Redding, he became one of the founding members of Nazareth in 1968. He appeared on all of Nazareth's albums up to 2014 and toured with them for 45 years. He co-wrote some of the big Nazareth hits, including "Broken Down Angel", and "Bad Bad Boy". ''Victims of Deception'' is the second album by the American thrash metal band Heathen, which was released in 1991 by Roadrunner Records. It was re-issued by Metal Mind Productions in 2006 as a digipak in a limited amount of 2,000 numbered copies. The bonus track "Hellbound" is a cover of Tygers of Pan Tang.
