Kjerstin Askholt (born 7 May 1962) is a Norwegian civil servant. She was the governor of Svalbard from 2015 to 2021. Odd Olsen Ingerø (born 22 September 1950) is a Norwegian civil servant and former Governor of Svalbard. He was born in Skjeberg Municipality. Lars Fause
Lars Fause (born 20 February 1965) is a Norwegian prosecutor and civil servant serving as the governor of Svalbard since 2021. Early life and education Fause is originally from Balsfjord Municipality in Troms county. Fause graduated from the University of Tromsø in 1991 with a Master of Studies in Law. Much of his family lives in Tromsø, where Fause resides when not in Svalbard. Career Following his graduation, Fause worked for the Oslo Police District as an assistant. He also worked for a year as a police lawyer for the Troms Police District, and for the following two years at the Trondenes District Court as an assistant judge. Bredtveit Prison
Bredtveit Prison (formally Bredtveit Prison Service, Custody and Supervision Unit, ) is a prison located in the neighborhood of Bredtvet in Oslo, Norway. During World War II it was a concentration camp. Pre-World War II It originated at Bredtvet farm as a learning home (''lærehjem'') for young boys, erected 1918 and in use from 1919 to 1923. In 1923 the state took over the property from ''Det norske lærehjem- og verneforbund''. In 1929 it was proposed that the property be turned into a juvenile center teaching labour skills; the proposal accepted in 1939. This plan did not materialize, as the construction of the facility was halted by war. Concentration camp In 1940, Norway was invaded and occupied by Nazi Germany.
