Agnes De Frumerie
Agnes Eleonora Augusta Emilia de Frumerie (20 November 1869 – 2 April 1937) was a Swedish artist who spent much of her career in France. She was born Agnes Eleonora Augusta Emilia Kjellberg in Skövde and studied at the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm from 1886 to 1890. She lived in Paris from 1892 to 1923, where she studied with Rodin. She produced mainly smaller sculptures and ceramics. She married Gustaf de Frumerie, a captain in the Swedish army and later a doctor, in Paris. During the 1890s, she became part of the avant-garde group of artists in Paris, including August Strindberg whose image she captured in a sculpture. She also worked in collaboration with Edmond Lachenal. De Frumerie died in Stockholm at the age of 67. Patric Göran Kjellberg (born June 17, 1969) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey left wing. He was drafted in the fourth round, 83rd overall, by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. Career Drafted from the Swedish Elite League's AIK, Kjellberg made his North American professional debut during the 1992–93 season with Montreal's AHL affiliate, the Fredericton Canadiens. He also made his NHL debut that same season with Montreal, appearing in seven games. After the season, however, Kjellberg returned to Sweden and played five more seasons in Elitserien. With HV71, he won the Swedish National Championship during the season of 1994–1995. Kjellberg returned to the NHL in the 1998–99 season to play with the Nashville Predators. Chellberg Farm (sometimes Anders Kjellberg Farm) is a historic farmstead which in 1972 became part of Indiana Dunes National Park. Chellberg Farm is significant as it represents the ethnic heritage of a nearly forgotten Swedish-American settlement. The farm includes a family home, water house with windmill, chicken coop/bunkhouse, and the original barn. Other nearby Swedish landmarks have been restored or preserved, including the Burstrom Chapel and the Burstrom Cemetery.
