King of Kings, or KOK, is a European kickboxing promotion founded in 2009. The company has its headquarters in Vilnius, Lithuania. History The promotion held its first event in Lithuania in 2009. The promotion has since held over 100 events in multiple countries including in Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Estonia, Russia, Germany and Cyprus. Harry Sidebottom is a British author and historian, best known for his two series of historical novels the ''Warrior of Rome'', and ''Throne of the Caesars''. The ''King of Kings Tournament 1999'' was a series of three separate mixed martial arts events held by the Fighting Network Rings (RINGS). The tournament took place in both Tokyo and Osaka between October 28, 1999 and February 26, 2000. The tournament was the first of two King of Kings tournaments. The tournament matched up 32 of the best fighters from nine different countries. Rules The tournament had two qualifying events: King of Kings 1999 Block A and King of Kings 1999 Block B. ''King of Kings'' (also referred to as ''Touchdown Jesus'') was a tall statue of Jesus on the east side of Interstate 75 at the Solid Rock Church, a 4000+ member Christian megachurch near Monroe, Ohio, in the United States. King of Kings (27 February 1995 – 23 February 2015) was an Irish Thoroughbred racehorse and sire. In a career that lasted from May 1997 to June 1998 he ran seven times and won five races. After establishing himself as one of the leading colts of his generation in Ireland as a two-year-old, when his wins included the Group One National Stakes, he recorded his most important win when he travelled to England to win the 2000 Guineas on his first start of 1998.
