Kick (2023 Film)
''Kick'' is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Prashant Raj. It is produced by Naveen Raj under the production banner Fortune Films. A remake of the director's Kannada film ''Zoom'' (2016), the film stars Santhanam and Tanya Hope in the lead role, Ragini Dwivedi, Brahmanandam, Mansoor Ali Khan, Senthil and Manobala in supporting roles. The film was announced in January 2022 under the tentative title ''Santa15,'' while the official title ''Kick'' was revealed in August. Principal photography commenced in April 2022, and wrapped in July. The music is composed by Arjun Janya, while the cinematography and editing are handled by Sudhakar S. Raj and Nagooran Ramachandran, respectively. The film was released theatrically on September 1 2023 and received negative reviews from critics. Ganesh Chaturthi ( ISO: ), also known as Vinayak Chaturthi (), or Ganeshotsav () is a Hindu festival commemorating the birth of the Hindu god Ganesha. The festival is marked with the installation of Ganesha's clay idols privately in homes and publicly on elaborate pandals (temporary stages).
