Kevin McCarthy (February 15, 1914 – September 11, 2010) was an American stage, film and television actor, remembered as the male lead in the horror science fiction film ''Invasion of the Body Snatchers'' (1956). Following several television guest roles, McCarthy gave his first credited film performance in ''Death of a Salesman'' (1951), portraying Biff Loman to Fredric March's Willy Loman. Career He is best known as the director of the syndicated game show ''Jeopardy!'', and before that, he served as the show's associate director from the start in 1984 until taking the main director position in 1992 (replacing Dick Schneider), a role in which he held for 26 years until the end of the 2017–18 season, when he announced his retirement on June 26, 2018. Kevin McCarthy is an American radio-television personality in north Texas. He was part of the original staff of KNUS/99, being brought to the station by Gordon McLendon in 1972. After a 2-year stint at the legendary KFRC in San Francisco and 3 years as a sports anchor/reporter at the CBS-TV Station in Dallas, he spent fourteen years as a top-rated talk show host on KLIF before leaving in 2001 to start his own business, a multi-media marketing company. He has been the "Trusty Sidekick" co-host with Jerry Reynolds on the Car Pro Show syndicated in over two dozen cities for the past 21 years. Kevin Edward McCarthy (born February 22, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Kansas City Royals. Kevin Joseph McCarthy (born 11 October 1945) is a former cricketer who played first-class cricket for South Australia from 1964-65 to 1972-73. Cricket career Kevin McCarthy was a strongly-built fast-medium bowler and useful tail-end batsman. Kevin McCarthy (born July 14, 1957) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who spent 10 seasons in the National Hockey League between 1977 and 1987, serving as captain of the Vancouver Canucks from 1979 until 1982. The Aryan Republican Army (ARA), also dubbed "The Midwest Bank bandits" by the FBI and law-enforcement, was a white nationalist terrorist gang which robbed 22 banks in the Midwest from 1994 to 1996.
