Kevin Lewis (defensive Back)
Kevin Lewis (born November 14, 1966) is a former American football defensive back who played with the San Francisco 49ers and the Phoenix Cardinals of the National Football League. He played college football at Northwestern State. Early life Lewis was born on November 14, 1966, in New Orleans. He played high school football at Alcée Fortier High School alongside other future NFL cornerbacks Maurice Hurst and Aeneas Williams. He earned all-district honors in football and basketball and graduated valedictorian of his class. College football career Lewis, who was just 5'7" and 146 pounds coming out of high school, persuaded Northwestern State Demon coaches to let him walk on as a cornerback. He played for the Demons from 1985 to 1988. In 2007, he was inducted into the N-Club Hall of Fame and selected to the Top 100 Demons of the Century roster. In gridiron football, defensive backs (DBs), also called the secondary, are the players on the defensive side of the ball who play farthest back from the line of scrimmage. Clinton, Mississippi
Clinton is a city in Hinds County, Mississippi, United States. Situated in the Jackson metropolitan area, it is the tenth largest city in Mississippi. The population was 28,100 at the 2020 United States census. History Founded in 1823, Clinton was originally known as Mt. Salus, which means "Mountain of health". It was named for the plantation home of Walter Leake, third governor of Mississippi, which was located in Clinton and built in 1812. The road east from Vicksburg was completed to Mount Salus and the federal government located the district land office at Mount Salus in 1822. The original federal survey in 1822 references a spring called "Swafford's Spring" at the site of the town. The 1991 Los Angeles Rams season was the team's 55th year with the National Football League and the 46th season in Los Angeles. The team was looking to improve on its 5–11 record from 1990. However, the Rams finished the 1991 season 3–13, tied for the second worst record in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After splitting their first 6 games, the Rams lost their final 10 games of the season, their longest losing streak to end a season, beating the 1937 team based in Cleveland, who lost nine in a row to end that season. The 3–13 record was the worst for the Rams in Los Angeles for a 16-game schedule and tied the third-fewest victories posted by the team during its tenure in the city.
