Kevin Darwin Greene (July 31, 1962December 21, 2020) was an American professional American football, football player who was a linebacker and defensive end for the Los Angeles Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers, and San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL) from 1985 through 1999. He had 160 quarterback sack, sacks in his career, which ranks third among List of National Football League career sacks leaders, NFL career sack leaders, and was voted to the National Football League 1990s All-Decade Team, NFL 1990s All-Decade Team. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016. Greene played college football for the Auburn Tigers football, Auburn Tigers. Kevin Michael Greene (born 31 December 1949) is a former New Zealand rugby union player and coach. He was the first coach of Glasgow Warriors, when the Glasgow District side professionalised in 1996. Rugby Union career Provincial career A halfback, Greene represented Waikato at a provincial level. International career He was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, in 1976 and 1977. He played eight games for the All Blacks, but did not appear in any test matches. Coaching career Greene was the coach of Waikato before finding himself in Scotland coaching amateur side Glasgow Academicals. During this time he also helped out coaching with Glasgow Academy, Greenock Wanderers and Clydebank Rugby Club. Kevin Patrick Greene (born 18 October 1958), is a former Australian politician, elected as a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1999 to 2011, and as a Councillor (2017–2022) and Mayor (2017–2021) of Georges River Council. Early life and background Greene grew up in the St George region of southern Sydney, attending St Declan's Catholic Primary School in Penshurst, where his father was president of the parents and friends organisation. After graduating from year 12 in 1976, Greene attended the University of New South Wales for a Bachelor of Commerce degree which he did not complete, preferring instead to coach boys football and cricket. Kevin Greene (born 1948) is a British Classical archaeology, classical archaeologist. He was a reader at Newcastle University until his retirement, and is now a visiting fellow in the School of History, Classics and Archaeology.
