Kenneth Athol Wilson (July 23, 1923 – April 3, 2008) was a minor league hockey general manager and owner for forty years. He was born in Craik, Saskatchewan. His career as a manager spanned sixteen years in the International Hockey League, five years in the Continental Hockey League and single seasons each in the National Hockey League, Western Hockey League and Eastern Hockey League. Wilson was known for identifying young talent; his players won league-wide Rookie of the Year awards seven times. Early life Wilson played for the Mayfair Public School hockey team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. In 1937, Mayfair won the J.D. McDonald Cup for the Saskatoon public schools hockey championship, with Wilson playing from the centre and left-wing positions. Kenneth John Wilson (7 February 1941 – 11 June 2016) was a British writer, publisher and editor of books and magazines about climbing and mountaineering. The British Mountaineering Council's ''Summit Magazine'' described him as "one of the most influential voices in British climbing". In 1974 he edited and contributed to the first editions of the book ''Hard Rock'' which ''The Guardian'' considered was "among the most influential climbing books of the 20th century." Ken Wilson (born October 20, 1947) is an American sportscaster, known primarily for his many years as a play-by-play announcer of National Hockey League and Major League Baseball games. For twenty seasons Wilson called St. Louis Blues hockey on FoxSports Net Midwest, KPLR-TV, and KMOX radio. His famous catch phrase when calling Blues games was 'Oh Baby!', which he injected during moments of extreme excitement. Ken Wilson (born February 17, 1964) is an American college football coach who serves as the linebackers coach at TCU a position he has held since 2024. He served as the head football coach at the University of Nevada from 2022 to 2023. Before becoming the head coach, he coached as an assistant at Nevada for 19 seasons, from 1989 to 1998 and 2004 to 2012. Coaching career Assistant at Nevada Wilson began coaching at Nevada in 1989. He spent a total of 19 seasons as an assistant coach there in two stints, from 1989 to 1998 and 2004 to 2012. In between he worked as an associate athletic director for Nevada. Kenneth Gasana (born Kenneth Wilson; November 9, 1984) is a Rwandan professional basketball player who currently plays for Bangui Sporting Club of the Road to BAL. Born in the United States, he represents the team of Rwanda internationally. Career Gasana played his final two years of college basketball for Boise State. Gasana started his professional career in 2007. In 2010, Gasana joined Moroccan club Chabab Rif Al Hoceima for one season which was followed by another season at Spaza Sports BC. Kenneth Earl Wilson (born January 30, 1990) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. Career Toronto Blue Jays Wilson attended Sickles High School in Tampa, Florida. He committed to attend the University of Florida on a college baseball scholarship. The Toronto Blue Jays selected Wilson in the second round, with the 63rd overall selection, of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft. Wilson signed with the Blue Jays, receiving a $644,000 signing bonus, and began his professional career with the Gulf Coast Blue Jays. Kenneth James "Tug" Wilson (25 November 1938 - 1 December 1993) was an English rugby union international. Born in Newark, Wilson attended The King's School, Grantham. Wilson, a physical training instructor at RAF Innsworth, was a RAF heavyweight boxing champion and once had a points win over Billy Walker. He played his rugby in the RAF and for Gloucester, gaining an England cap as a prop against France at Twickenham in the 1963 Five Nations, before signing with rugby league side Oldham.
