Keegan O'Toole
Keegan Daniel O'Toole (born May 9, 2001) is an American Freestyle wrestler, freestyle and Folkstyle, folkstyle wrestler who competes at 74 kilograms. In freestyle, he was the 2023 U23 World Wrestling Championships – Men's freestyle 74 kg, 2023 U23 World Champion and the 2021 World Juniors Wrestling Championships, 2021 U20 World Champion. In folkstyle, he is a two-time NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships, NCAA Division I national champion out of the University of Missouri. Career Early life Born and raised in the state of Wisconsin, O'Toole attended Arrowhead High School in Hartland, Wisconsin, graduating in 2020 as the second-ranked recruit in the nation. 2021 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships
The 2021 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships took place from March 18–20, 2021, in St. Louis, Missouri at the Enterprise Center. The tournament was the 90th NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship, following the cancellation of the 2020 edition, and featured 63 teams across that level. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, the event was forced to occur with modifications. Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association
The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) is the regulatory body for all high school sports in Wisconsin. Its history dates to 1895, making it the earliest continually existing high school athletic organization in the country. Scholastic wrestling, sometimes referred to as folkstyle wrestling and commonly known as simply wrestling, is a style of amateur wrestling at the high school and middle school levels in the United States. It has often been labeled the "toughest sport in the world" because of the physical conditioning, mental preparation, complexity, and intense nature of its one-on-one competition. Arrowhead High School
Arrowhead High School is a high school located in Merton Town, Wisconsin (with a Hartland, Wisconsin post address). Sitting on of land, the school has two campuses, a north campus and a south campus. Juniors and seniors attend the north campus, while freshmen and sophomores attend the south campus. Enrollment is about 2300 students at the school, which employs about 200 faculty members. Arrowhead's athletics teams are known as the Warhawks, and its mascot, Wally, is a hawk. History Arrowhead High School was established in 1956 in the Hartland, Wisconsin area. Folkstyle
Collegiate wrestling, commonly referred to as folkstyle wrestling, is the form of wrestling practiced at the post-secondary level in the United States. This style of wrestling is also practiced at the high school, middle school, and elementary levels with some modifications. The rules and style of collegiate/folkstyle wrestling differ from the Olympic styles of freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling.
