Garry Kimovich Kasparov (born Garik Kimovich Weinstein on 13 April 1963) is a Russian Grandmaster (chess), chess grandmaster, former World Chess Champion (1985–2000), political activist and writer. His peak FIDE chess Elo rating system, rating of 2851, achieved in 1999, was the highest recorded until being surpassed by Magnus Carlsen in 2013. From 1984 until his retirement from regular competitive chess in 2005, Kasparov was ranked the world's No. 1 player for a record 255 months overall. Gevorg Kasparov (, born 25 July 1980) is an Armenian Goalkeeping coach (UEFA B Licence) and former professional goalkeeper. Club career Dvin Artashat Before playing in Dvin, Kasparov is a graduate of the Yerevan football school. As a youth, he played with the team Dvin Artashat. He played for this youth club from 1997 – 1998. At the age of 17 he became the main goalkeeper for the club. Because of the club's poor defensive line, the number of goals scored against Kasparov in the 1997 season were 51 goals in 18 matches. However, in the following season the situation changed so that in 10 matches, Kasparov caught the ball outside the goal 19 times. Sergey Vladimirovich Kasparov is a Belarusian chess grandmaster. Chess career In August 2008, he played in the Arctic Chess Challenge. He finished in 8th place after an eleven-move draw against Vitaly Kunin in the final round. In January 2016, he played in the Groningen Festival, where he finished 9th after losing to eventual winner Jorden van Foreest in the final round. In April 2018, he played in the Kathmandu Open, where he was in the joint lead after the fourth round, but was defeated by Shyaam Nikhil P. in the seventh round. In October 2018, he played in the Gujarat Open, where he was held to a draw by Gaurav Kumar in the final round. Later that month, he played in the Goa International Open, where he defeated Vitaliy Bernadskiy in the ninth round, and was tied for first after the round. Yuri Kasparov
Yuri Sergeyevich Kasparov (born 8 June 1955, in Moscow, —his name is variously transliterated) is a Russian composer, music teacher and a professor at the Moscow Conservatory where he had studied for his doctorate under Edison Denisov. Under the patronage of Denisov, he founded the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble in 1990 and is its artistic director. He is the chairman of the Russian section of the International Society for Contemporary Music. Life In 1978, Kasparov graduated from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute with a degree in engineering. He graduated with a second degree in music from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory (usually called simply the Moscow Conservatory) in 1984 and went on to complete his post-graduate studies there in 1991. In mathematics, ''KK''-theory is a common generalization both of K-homology and K-theory as an additive bivariant functor on separable C*-algebras.
