Kara Saun is an American fashion and costume designer and the CEO of Kara Saun LLC, an LA-based fashion and costume design house. Saun appeared on Project Runway (season 1), season 1 and Project Runway (season 20), season 20, an All-star, all-stars season, of the series ''Project Runway''. Prior to her appearance in season 1, Saun had been considering giving up on a career in fashion in Los Angeles. She recalls lying "on the floor of a girlfriend’s apartment...and I was like, ‘God, I need a sign.
