Kalkaji Assembly constituency is one of the 70 Delhi Legislative Assembly constituencies of the National Capital Territory in northern India. Overview Present geographical structure of Kalkaji constituency came into existence in 2008 as a part of the implementation of the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India constituted in 2002. Delhi
Delhi, officially the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi, is a city and a union territory of India containing New Delhi, the capital of India. Straddling the Yamuna river, but spread chiefly to the west, or beyond its Bank (geography), right bank, Delhi shares borders with the state of Uttar Pradesh in the east and with the state of Haryana in the remaining directions. 1993 Delhi Legislative Assembly Election
Legislative Assembly elections were held in Delhi in November 6 1993. The result was a victory for the Bhartiya Janata Party, which won 49 of the 70 seats in the Delhi Legislative Assembly, Assembly. Alka Lamba
Alka Lamba (born 21 September 1975) is an Indian politician serving for the President of All India Mahila Congress. After serving the Indian National Congress in various capacities for more than 20 years, she quit to join the Aam Aadmi Party on 26 December 2014. In February 2015, Lamba was elected to the Delhi Legislative Assembly from Chandni Chowk. She quit AAP in September 2019 citing disrespect for her within the party. On 6 September 2019, she formally returned to the Congress party. She was however disqualified from the Delhi assembly by Delhi speaker for violating the rules for party change over a gesture of strong warning to tainted turncoats. Ramesh Bidhuri (born 18 July 1961) is an Indian politician, lawyer and a former Member of Parliament affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Bidhuri and his family have been active members of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh from their early childhood. The Delhi Legislative Assembly election was held on 7 February 2015 to elect 70 members of the Sixth Legislative Assembly of Delhi. The results were announced on 10 February 2015. The Aam Aadmi Party secured an absolute majority in the assembly, winning 67 of the 70 seats. 2013 Delhi Legislative Assembly Election
The Delhi Legislative Assembly election was held on 4 December 2013, with the result announced on 8 December resulting in formation of the Fifth Legislative Assembly of Delhi.
