''Kalikaalam'' (Malayalam: കലികാലം) is a 2012 Malayalam drama film written and directed by Reji Nair. Focussing mainly on relationships, it tells the story of a mother and her three children. The film tries to explore the complexities of a small family. Scriptwriter Reji Nair makes his directorial debut with this film. ''Kalikalam'' was filmed by award-winning cinematographer Madhu Ambat. The film's music is by O. N. V. Kurup-Ousepachan team, who reunites once again after ''Akashadoothu'' (1992). The film was shot in Thalassery and nearby places. Plot synopsis The story is about Devaki, an active social reformer, who works as a teacher and mother of three children. ''Kalikaalam'' () is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed and written by Panchu Arunachalam. The film stars Radhika and Nizhalgal Ravi. It is a remake of the Telugu film of same name. The film was released on 11 July 1992. Plot Raghuram, a daily wage worker, faces many challenges while earning for his family. He struggles hard to make money for the marriage of his children. Cast Production ''Kalikaalam'' was directed by Panchu Arunachalam, who also wrote the screenplay and dialogue. The film was produced by Ar. Shanmuga Nathan and P. Ar. Subramaniam under Geetha Chitra Combines. Cinematography was handled by T. S. Vinayagam, and edited by N. Chandran. The film marked the acting debut of Shanmugham. ''Kalikkalam'' () is a 1990 Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film, directed by Sathyan Anthikad, starring Mammootty, Shobana and Murali. the film was major commercial success. Plot Mammootty plays a burglar who is known by different names (Shankar / Antony / Tony Louis / Gauthaman / Pappan / Vasudevan / Ramakrishnan) in different places. He is a kind person and uses the illegal money he has burgled to help the poor and orphans. In the beginning, he fakes himself as an Income Tax officer Sankar and raids a jewellery with the help of a newly posted police officer Shekhar, and takes the illegal gold along with him. Later, on knowing that he has been cheated, Shekhar sets out to put the Sankar behind the bars. He use various methods to trap him, but all go in vain.
