Knock Out (kickboxing)
Knock Out (stylized as KNOCK OUT) is a Japanese martial arts promotion and brand established in 2016 by the Bushido Road subsidiary Kixroad. It is currently run by Def Fellow. In 2019, the promotion established two different rulesets. The Knock Out-Red ruleset allowed elbow strikes, sweeps and throws. The Knock Out-Black ruleset followed the traditional K-1 ruleset, which allowed kicks and strikes with fists or knees, while extended clinching, elbow strikes and throws of any kind were prohibited. Current champions History On September 14, 2016, Bushido Road announced the establishment of a new kickboxing promotion called Knock Out. The promotion was founded jointly by Riki Onodera and Road Fight, and initially partnered with another kickboxing promotion "NO KICK NO LIFE". Rebels (kickboxing)
is a defunct martial arts entertainment planning and promotion brand, which was established in 2010 and merged into Knock Out in 2021. History Rebels was established by the former two-weight Martial Arts Japan kickboxing champion Genki Yamaguchi on December 1, 2009, with the aim of popularizing the sport of muay thai in Japan. The inaugural event was held jointly by M-1 Challenge and Cross-Point on January 29, 2010, and was headline by a lightweight bout between Arashi Fujihara and TOMONORI. Starting with the third event, Rebels-EX, Cross Point broke their partnership with M-1 and remained as the sole promoter and organizer of the events. On June 11, 2011, Rebels announced a partnership with the Dutch-based It's Showtime, which allowed cross-promotion and mutual exchange of fighters under contract. Hinata (kickboxer)
Hinata Watanabe (born August 26, 1986 in Hiratsuka), or HINATA, is a Japanese welterweight kickboxer fighting out of Hiratsuka, Japan for the Shonan Kakuto Club. He is the 2008 R.I.S.E. champion currently competing in R.I.S.E. and K-1 MAX. Biography and career Hinata made his pro debut with RISE at the G-Bazooka Tournament event in 2005 losing in a non-tournament match. Over the next couple of years he had a fairly unspectacular fight record on the local circuit winning nine and losing six between 2005 and 2007. He had his first taste of success in 2008 winning a playoff at R.I.S.E. 46 to earn himself a shot at the organizations middleweight title, against a fighter who had defeated Hinata the previous year, at R.I.S.E. 48. Kaito Ono ( Japanese: 大野海人; born August 21, 1997), better known by his ring name Kaito (海人), is a Japanese kickboxer and Shoot boxer. Shintaro Matsukura
Shintaro Matsukura is a Japanese kickboxer fighting out of Tokyo, Japan. He is the current WPMF World Super Middleweight champion. Career On March 2, 2008 Matsukura participated to the K-1 tryouts, he passed every steps and was selected by the officials including K-1 youth development director Kensaku Maeda. Matsukura turned professional on July 20, 2008 at the MAJKF BREAK THROUGH 5 event. He was defeated by unanimous decision against Kenichi Hashimoto. Extreme Fight Game RISE, known simply as RISE, is a Japanese kickboxing promotion company based in Tokyo. Their name is an abbreviation of "Real Impact Sports Entertainment". Its main roster showcases ten male and three female weight classes. They also hold the KAMINARIMON events, which are exclusively open to amateur fighters. History RISE held their inaugural event on February 23, 2003, at the Gold Jim South Tokyo Annex in Ōmori, Japan. They held their first "Dead or Alive" tournament on December 23, 2003, which would later become an annual event held at the end of each year. is a Japanese kickboxer and Muay Thai fighter, currently signed with RISE, where he is the current RISE Super Flyweight (-53 kg) World champion and former RISE Super Flyweight (-53 kg) champion. Rui Ebata (江幡 塁, ''Ebata Rui'') is a Japanese kickboxer, fighting out of Tokyo, Japan. As of August 2021, he is the #6 ranked flyweight in the world according to Combat Press. Martial arts career Winning the SNKA and WKBA titles Ebata made his professional debut in 2007, with a unanimous decision win against Hiraeita Kano. After winning his debut fight, Ebata won 12 of his next 15 fights, only losing once, to Shota Takiya. Chan Hyung Lee (; born August 11, 1992) is a South Korean kickboxer. He is the former RISE Super Featherweight champion. Kickboxing career Early career Lee made his professional debut against Chung Woo Chee in June 2009, winning the fight by decision. He went on to amass a 7-2 record, including a notable victory over Genji Umeno.
