KNAL (FM)
KNAL (93.3 FM; ''93.3 The Wolf'') is a radio station licensed to Port Lavaca, Texas, United States, and serves Victoria and the Gulf Coast area. The station is currently owned by Victoria Radioworks, LLC., and airs a country music format. History KNAL was originally proposed by Daniel Andrus, who owned the AM facility in Port Lavaca, 1560 KGUL, under the licensee name of Calhoun County Broadcasting. The facility signed on as the FM sister to KGUL on April 13, 1978, as KGUL-FM. The original transmission site was located on U.S. Highway 87, 1.5 miles west of Port Lavaca, Texas, and a main studio location at 213 Colorado Street in Port Lavaca. The facility was originally operating on channel 240 (95.9 MHz), but relocated to channel 227 (93.3 MHz) in the early 80s to allow 95.7 at Houston (known as KIKK-FM at the time) to relocate from Shell Plaza in downtown Houston to the Senior Road tower near Missouri City. Port Lavaca ( ) is a city in Calhoun County, Texas, Calhoun County, located in the U.S. state of Texas. The population was 12,248 at the 2010 census and 11,557 at the 2020 United States census, 2020 census. KITE (AM)
KITE (1410 AM) is a radio station licensed to Victoria, Texas, United States, the station serves the Victoria TX area. The station is currently owned by Victoria Radioworks, LLC. History KITE was first proposed by Louis Thurmond "Culp" Krueger and his partners, under the licensee name Victoria Broadcasting Company in 1948. The facility received its construction permit on January 7, 1949, with a callsign assignment of KALO. Initially authorized at 500 watts, daytime operation only, from a transmit site on Bottom Street in Victoria. The callsign was quickly changed two months later, in March 1949, to KNAL, which was chosen to honor the creation of the Victoria Barge Canal, which linked landlocked Victoria to the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway and other various ports around the world. KVIC (FM)
KVIC 104.7 FM is a radio station licensed to Victoria, Texas. The station broadcasts a Top 40 (CHR) format and is owned by Victoria Radioworks, LLC. KVIC previously broadcast on 95.1 until May 2013, when the station moved to 104.7, as a result of neighboring Ganado's facility moving to 94.9, per an agreement between Victoria Radio Works and Roy Henderson, owner of KHTZ, which was granted by the FCC. KVIC assumed the 104.7 frequency that KHTZ abandoned in Ganado, using the same specifications it had at the 95.1 frequency.
