Jógvan Martin Olsen
Jógvan Martin Olsen (born 10 July 1961) is a Faroese football manager and former player who is the manager of ÍF Fuglafjørður since October 2015. He was the head coach of the Faroe Islands national team. Playing career Olsen was born in Toftir, Faroe Islands. A midfielder, played with B68 Toftir from 1978 to 1993 and again from 1996 to 1997 and for LÍF Leirvík 1994 and 1995. Three times Olsen won the national Faroese championship with B68 Toftir: 1984, 1985 and 1992. Managerial career Olsen was the assistant coach of the Faroe Islands national team during the reign of Allan Simonsen and Henrik Larsen (both from Denmark) in the period 1996–2005. Víkingur Gøta
Víkingur is a Faroe Islands, Faroese professional Association football, football club based in Leirvík. The club was founded in 2008 after the merger of GÍ Gøta and Leirvík ÍF. They play at the Serpugerði Stadium in Norðragøta. Both villages are part of the same municipality Eysturkommuna, located on the island of Eysturoy and about 5 kilometers away from each other. The club won the Faroese championship for the first time in the 2016 season. In the 2017 season, Vikingur won the championship again. Henrik Larsen (born 17 May 1966), nicknamed ''Store Larsen'' (''Big Larsen''), is a Danish Association football, football manager and former professional player who played as a midfielder. He was last the manager of Lyngby Boldklub. He was the joint top scorer at the UEFA Euro 1992 which he won with the Denmark national football team, Denmark national team. Toftir
Toftir () is a village in Nes Municipality on the island of Eysturoy, in the Faroe Islands. It is part of a chain of villages stretching over a distance of 10 kilometers on the east side of Skálafjørður (fjord) on Eysturoy island. The highest hill in Toftir, called ''Húkslond'', is 129 meters high, and Nes Municipality is the only area in the Faroes which has no mountains above 200 meters. Allan Simonsen
Allan Rodenkam Simonsen (born 15 December 1952) is a Danish former footballer and manager. He most prominently played as a striker for German Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach, winning the 1975 and 1979 UEFA Cups, as well as for Barcelona in Spain, winning the 1982 Cup Winners' Cup. Simonsen is the only footballer to have scored in the European Cup, UEFA Cup, and Cup Winners' Cup finals. Simonsen was named 1977 European Footballer of the Year.
