János Uzsoki (born 9 September 1972) is a retired Hungarian long jumper. He was born in Mezőtúr. He competed at the 1994 European Championships and the 1996 Olympic Games without reaching the final. Long Jump
The long jump is a track and field event in which athletes combine speed, strength and agility in an attempt to leap as far as possible from a takeoff point. Along with the triple jump, the two events that measure jumping for distance as a group are referred to as the "horizontal jumps". Mezőtúr is a town in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county in Hungary, located southeast from Budapest and 88 miles away by rail. It possesses important potteries.
