Elton Dean
Elton Dean (28 October 1945 – 8 February 2006) was an English jazz musician who performed on alto saxophone, saxello (a variant of the soprano saxophone) and occasionally keyboards. Part of the Canterbury scene, he featured in, among others, Soft Machine. Life and career Dean was born in Nottingham, England, moving to Tooting, London, soon after his birth. From 1966 to 1967, Dean was a member of the band Bluesology, led by Long John Baldry. The band's pianist, Reginald Dwight, afterward combined Dean's and Baldry's first names for his own stage name, Elton John. This fact is alluded to in the 2019 film ''Rocketman'', a biopic of the life and career of Elton John, where Dean is portrayed by Evan Walsh, however the film fictionally cites John Lennon as the inspiration for Elton John's taken surname. Just Us was an American pop duo, consisting of songwriter Chip Taylor and session musician, Al Gorgoni. It was serviced to contemporary hit radio on May 21, 2019, as the fourth single off the album. The song samples Outkast's " Ms. Jackson". Critical reception Thomas Hobbs of ''NME'' praised SZA's performance on the song and described it as "mixtape freestyle". A.D. Just Us is the smallest of the official neighborhoods of Atlanta, consisting of only two streets. It began as the "Fountain Drive-Morris Brown Drive Community Club" in the late 1940s, and evolved into its present name today during the early 1950s. It was established as the first black owned, constructed sub-division in the city of Atlanta. Just Us was on the tour of the Dogwood Trail with its beautiful horticultural display, as well as on the tour route of the city of Atlanta’s scenic Christmas array of lights. Just Us! Coffee Roasters Co-op is a Canadian importer of fair trade coffee, tea, sugar, and chocolate. Based in Grand Pré, Nova Scotia, Just Us! products are sold throughout Canada, typically in shops specializing in fair trade goods such as Ten Thousand Villages. The company was founded in 1996 by Jeff and Debra Moore and 3 friends, after a visit by Jeff Moore to the mountainous coffee-producing regions of Mexico in December 1995. The name was conceived as a pun on the word justice, reflecting the motivations behind the fair trade movement. The business began as a coffee roastery in New Minas. Just Us! was a trailblazer in the coffee industry as the first fair trade coffee roaster in Canada, starting a movement that lead to many other fair trade roasters in Canada.
