Judo At The 2020 Summer Olympics – Mixed Team
The mixed team competition in judo at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo was held on 31 July 2021 at the Nippon Budokan. It was the first time a team judo competition was held in the Olympics. Team Japan is the only team to win this event at the World Judo Championships, with team France winning the last 3 silver medals. The medals for the competition were presented by Mr.  Yasuhiro Yamashita, IOC Member, Japan, Olympian, one Gold Medal; and the medalists' bouquets were presented by  Marius L Vizer, IJF President; Austria. Nippon Budokan
The , often shortened to simply Budokan, is an indoor arena in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. It was originally built for the inaugural Olympic judo competition in the 1964 Summer Olympics. The Budokan was a popular venue for Japanese professional wrestling for a time, and it has hosted numerous other sporting events, such as the 1967 Women's Volleyball World Championship. Most recently, the arena hosted the Olympic debut of karate in the 2020 Summer Olympics, as well as the judo competition at both the 2020 Summer Olympics and the 2020 Summer Paralympics. Sagi Aharon Muki (or Moki; ; born 17 May 1992) is an Israeli Olympic and former world champion half-middleweight judoka. Muki is the 2019 World Judo Championships – Men's 81 kg, 2019 World Champion. Gili Sharir (; born 22 November 1999) is an Israeli judoka and Olympic bronze medalist, having won a bronze medal in mixed team event at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Li Kochman (or Lee, ; born 18 April 1995) is an Israeli judoka. He competes in the under 90 kg weight category, and won a silver medal in the Judo at the 2019 European Games – Men's 90 kg, 2019 European Judo Championships. Shira Rishony
Shira Rishony (; born 21 February 1991) is an Israeli Olympic lightweight judoka. She competes at 48 kg (under 106 pounds). She competed for Israel at the 2016 Summer Olympics. At the 2020 Summer Olympics she won a bronze medal in the mixed team event, and placed 5th in the women's 48 kg event. She won a bronze medal at the 2022 European Championships. Baruch Shmailov (; born 2 September 1994) is an Israeli Olympic judoka. He competes in the under 66 kg weight category, and won a gold medal in the 2022 World Masters in Jerusalem. Shori Hamada
is a Japanese medal-winning Olympic judoka and army officer. In 2018 She won the gold medal in the 2018 World Judo Championships. In 2021 she won the gold medal in the women's 78 kg event, and silver in the mixed team event, at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.
