Juan De Castilla Y Haro
Juan de Castilla y Haro, most commonly known as Juan el Tuerto (the one-eyed) (b. ? - d. 31 October 1326, Toro), was a Spanish noble of the House of Haro and of the royal line of the Kingdom of Castile descended from Alfonso X of Castile. He was the Lord of Cuéllar from 1319 to 1325 and the Lord of Biscay from 1322 until his assassination by order of King Alfonso XI of Castile in 1326. Family Origins He was the son and heir of María II Díaz de Haro, from whom he inherited the Lordship of Biscay, and her husband the infante John of Castile. His paternal grandfather was King Alfonso X of Castile and his maternal grandfather was Diego López III de Haro. Juan Carlos Castilla Zenobi (Chile 1940) is a marine biologist. He received his PhD from the University of Wales. Since 1965, he has been a faculty member at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In 1985, he published a paper on a study which focused on a part of the Chilean coastline from which humans had been excluded. Juan Carlos Castilla Gómez (born 10 June 1978) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in Huelva, Andalusia, Castilla made his senior debut with the local Recreativo de Huelva but has yet to establish himself there. In 1999–2000's Segunda División, he was only the third choice and made no appearances in the league during his spell. Subsequently, he moved to the Segunda División B with Real Balompédica Linense, then spent two more years at that level with Jerez CF. Castilla joined UDA Gramenet in division three in the summer of 2004, appearing in 66 league matches, including the unsuccessful promotion play-offs. Afterwards, he signed with UE Lleida, also in Catalonia and the third tier, where he started most of the time. Juan Andres Castilla Lozano (born July 27, 2004) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Houston Dynamo in Major League Soccer. Career Youth Castilla joined the Houston Dynamo pre-academy teams when he was 7. In 2016, at the age of 11, he moved to the Dynamo Academy. He spent some time training in Spain and with the Columbus Crew Academy before returning to the Dynamo in 2019. Professional Houston Dynamo On 14 June 2020, Castilla signed a Homegrown contract with the Houston Dynamo. The contract went into effect on 1 January 2021. At 15 years old, Castilla became the youngest homegrown signing in club history. He spent the rest of 2020 with Houston's USL Championship affiliate, RGVFC.
