José Santa Cruz (boxer)
José Armando Santa Cruz (born August 29, 1980) is a Mexican former professional boxer. He is a former WBC interim lightweight champion, losing this title on August 12, 2006, to David Díaz. He is the brother of boxing star Léo Santa Cruz Léodegario Santa Cruz (born 10 August 1988) is a Mexican professional boxer. He is a four-weight world champion, having held the IBF bantamweight title from 2012 to 2013, the WBC super bantamweight title from 2013 to 2015, the WBA (Super) f .... Professional career Jose turned professional in 2000, he won his pro debut by knocking out Penpak Chokchai. He would go on to compile a record of 22–1 before facing and defeating Japanese boxer Chikashi Inada, to win the interim WBC lightweight title. He would lose the title in his next fight to David Diaz. James Edward Crayton, alias ''Too Sweet'', is an American former professional boxer. Personal life Crayton is a native and a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. Professional career Early career Crayton's made his professional debut on April 7, of 1994, chalking up a knockout win against Agustin Rocha. Crayton's career got off to a shaky start, with his first loss coming in his fourth bout and his second loss in his eighth bout. However, Crayton pulled himself together and strung together 12 consecutive wins before falling at the hands of Derrick Gainer in January 1996. is a sports arena in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan, which has hosted boxing, professional wrestling, kickboxing, mixed martial arts and Lethwei matches. History On April 16, 1962, the Korakuen Hall was officially opened with a capacity of approximately 2,000 people. It is located inside the Tokyo Dome City, one of Tokyo's biggest attractions. The venue hosted the boxing events for the 1964 Summer Olympics. On March 30, 1993, the Japanese kickboxing promotion K-1 held its first event K-1 Sanctuary I at Korakuen Hall. In March 2011, as the hall suffered structural damage in the Tōhoku earthquake. Events including a World Boxing Council triple female world title fight were postponed or canceled. The Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom is a ballroom turned event space located in Chicago in the Uptown, Chicago, Uptown neighborhood, approximately north of Chicago Loop, Downtown. History The Aragon Ballroom was built by brothers Andrew and William Karzas, who turned to ballrooms after making their early fortunes in nickelodeons and movie theaters. The North American Boxing Federation (NABF) is a not-for-profit regional sanctioning body that awards regional boxing titles. It is a boxing federation within the World Boxing Council (WBC). History The WBC established the NABF in 1969 as part of its creation of a variety of regional boxing federations.
