Saint Judoc, otherwise known as Jodoc, Joyce or Josse (; traditionally 600 – 668 AD)Alban Butler, (Michael Walsh, ed.) ''Butler's Lives of the Saints'' (1991) ''s.v.'' He renounced his wealth and position to become a priest and lived alone for the rest of his lifetime in the coastal forest near the mouth of the River Canche. Etymology The name Judoc, meaning "Lord", is the 14th century Breton version of ''Iudocus'' in Latin, ''Josse'' in French, ''Jost,'' ''Joost,'' or ''Joos'' in Dutch, and ''Joyce'' in English. The name Judoc was rarely used after the 14th century except in the Netherlands. Sint Joost
Sint Joost () is a Dutch village in the municipality of Echt-Susteren. History The village was first mentioned in 1294 or 1295 as "De curte Sancti Judoci", and refers to Saint Judoc. Sint Joost is a linear settlement which developed around a Valliscaulian monastery. The farm Kloosterhof is a 13th century remnant of the monastery which was converted into a farm in the 18th century. The area of Sint Joost is frequently raided by the so-called " Buckriders" (''Bokkenrijders'') between 1730 and 1780. Sint Joost was home to 226 people in 1840. Saint-Josse-ten-Noode ( French, ) or Sint-Joost-ten-Node ( Dutch, ), often simply called Saint-Josse in French or Sint-Joost in Dutch, is one of the 19 municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium. Jösse Car
Jösse Car was a sports car automaker, manufacturer founded in 1994 and located in Arvika, Sweden. They produced one vehicle, the two seater roadster Indigo 3000. History In October 1993, Bengt Lidmalm visited the TVR showroom in Earl's Court, London, and began looking into the idea of creating his own sportscar. Lidmalm partnered with Sven-Olof Fogelberg of Volvo founding Jösse Car AB in Arvika, Sweden in 1994. Hans Philip Zackau who designed the Volvo 850 was recruited as chief designer to design their first car, the Indigo 3000 powered by a 3 litre Volvo engine and based around a lightweight body on a galvanized steel frame. In March 1996, Jösse Car produced their first customer vehicle. In media tests, the Indigo 3000 performed well against competitor cars including the Alfa Romeo Spider and BMW Z3.
