Josie Raymond is an American politician. She is a Democrat representing District 41 in the Kentucky House of Representatives. She previously represented District 31 until new boundaries were drawn during the 2022 election cycle. She is not seeking reelection to the house in 2024, instead running for the Louisville Metro Council. Early life Raymond holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University, where she wrote for the campus newspaper, ''Columbia Daily Spectator''. She also holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Marian University. The Kentucky House of Representatives is the lower house of the Kentucky General Assembly. It is composed of 100 Representatives elected from single-member districts throughout the Commonwealth. Not more than two counties can be joined to form a House district, except when necessary to preserve the principle of equal representation.
