Joshua Papali'i (born 13 May 1992) is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a forward for the Canberra Raiders in the National Rugby League. He has played for both Australia and Samoa at international level. He is also the highest-capped Canberra Raiders player of all time. He has also played at representative level for the Prime Minister's XIII and Queensland in the State of Origin series. He played as a or earlier in his career. Totally Wicked Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in St Helens, Merseyside, England. Known as Langtree Park until 2017, it has a capacity of over 18,000 and is the home ground of rugby league club St Helens R.F.C. and football club Liverpool F.C. Women. The Fiji national rugby league team, nicknamed the Bati (pronounced ), has been participating in international rugby league football since 1992. The 2013 Rugby League World Cup was the fourteenth World Cup for men’s national rugby league teams. It took place between the 26 October and 30 November and was hosted by England and Wales (although some games were played in France and Ireland). Australia won the tournament, beating New Zealand 34–2 in the final to lift the trophy for the tenth time. Originally planned to take place in 2012 it was moved back a year to avoid clashing with the London Olympics in 2012. It was the main event of the year's Festival of World Cups. 2013 NRL Season
The 2013 NRL season was the 106th season of professional rugby league club competition in Australia. The 2013 State of Origin series was the 32nd time the annual best-of-three series between the Queensland and New South Wales rugby league teams was played entirely under 'state of origin' rules. Parramatta Eels
The Parramatta Eels are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in the Sydney suburb of Parramatta that competes in the National Rugby League (NRL). The Parramatta District Rugby League Football Club was formed in 1947, and their home ground was Cumberland Oval. After the 1981 grand final win fans damaged Cumberland Oval which was later replaced by Parramatta stadium on the same site.
