Josh Dylan Meyers ( ; born January 8, 1976) is an American actor and comedian, known for being a cast member of the sketch comedy series ''MADtv'' and playing Randy Pearson in the eighth and final season of ''That '70s Show''. He is the younger brother of Seth Meyers who was a writer and cast member of ''Saturday Night Live'' (a competitor show to ''MADtv'') and later '' Late Night'' host. Early life, family and education Meyers was born on January 8, 1976, the younger of two sons of Hilary Claire Meyers (née Olson), a French teacher; and Laurence Meyers Jr., who worked in finance. Meyers's paternal grandfather was Ashkenazi Jewish, and his other ancestry is Czech–Austrian and Croatian (from his paternal grandmother), Swedish, English, and German. Josh Meyers (born December 7, 1985) is an American former professional ice hockey player. He last played for the Krefeld Pinguine in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). He was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the 7th round (206th overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Meyers played four seasons (2005–09) of college ice hockey at the University of Minnesota Duluth with the Minnesota–Duluth Bulldogs in the WCHA at the NCAA Division I level. On May 30, 2010, he was signed as a free agent by the Calgary Flames. After three seasons in Germany with Krefeld Pinguine of the DEL, Meyers was released to free agency and initially signed a one-year contract with Norwegian club, the Stavanger Oilers of the GET-ligaen EliteHockey Ligaen (EHL) is the premier Norwegian ice hockey league, organised by the Norwegian Ice Hockey Association.
